Great advice! If you're a new homeowner, this might be helpful information.
THIS COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE...PLEASE REMIND PEOPLE Make sure you clear a path and uncover your heat pump units if you have them (these are heat pumps (my source of heat for the house, and uses propane for back-up when the temps go below 30 ish)) BUT not matter if you have heat pumps or not, WE ALL HAVE and YOU MUST clear your vents (see mine on bottom left of picture), and intake values. This will properly keep your home warm, and prevent carbon monoxide from building up into the house. There have been numerous emergency calls with CO backing up into homes. I just finished doing my house. Also having a carbon monoxide alarm is very important. They are less than $20
