East Lawn Cemeteries, Funeral Homes and Cremation shared Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento's post.
Chaplain Mary Nobbe along with Chaplain Sophie gave the prayer at the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Lighting Ceremony on Friday at East Lawn Sierra Hills Memorial Park. The torch was lit at the eternal flame by the Special Olympics Ambassador Athlete and members of the Galt Police Department (in honor of fallen Officer Kevin A. Tonn), before it made its way through Sacramento county being run by different law enforcement agencies. The Law Enforcement Torch Relay has raised more than a half-a-billion dollars for Special Olympics.
