The Science Museum of Western Virginia inspires science appreciation throughout the region and offers one of the most unique event settings in all of Western museum features the Living River & Touch Tank, and interactive exhibits. Our expanded galleries -- Healthy Bodies, Healthy Earth, and How It Works! -- feature exciting, interactive exhibits. We also offer an innovative Maker Lab, and The Bubble, a multisensory space for Hidden Garden contains many of the plants that can be grown in local gardens to encourage happy and healthy insect pollinators, including our beautiful native butterflies and moths.

Tuesday - Saturday: 10:00am - 5:00pm Sunday: 1:00pm - 5:00pm We will also be open on Mondays from June - August
We are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
