Bernie Peterson began work in the pest control industry in 1977. He worked for Wil-Kil Pest Control for 12 years, until he started his own pest management company in 1989.
Bernie graduated from Oregon High School in 2012 after a 30+ year break (business finally slowed down enough one winter to give him time to finish school), and has lived in the area his whole life. He lives with his wife and daughter, and has another daughter also doing business as the executive director at Academy of Sound. His hobbies include designing and building furniture, Native American artifact hunting, hunting Wisconsin whitetails, and fishing. He makes yearly fishing trips to northern Ontario, Canada.
Bernie has also worked as a guitar teacher for Academy of Sound in Oregon, WI. He and his wife, Cindy, own and manage rental properties in Stoughton.
Bernie attends various seminars on rodent and insect control throughout the year to keep up on the latest pest control technologies and techniques. He is also an elected board member of the Oregon Area Historical Society (current term: 2012-2014).
