Poway Country Preschool

Poway Country Preschool has been serving the children of Poway for over 30 years. Mrs. Ashne Hasson took over in 2003 as the new owner / director of Poway Country Preschool. Ashne has over 40 years of experience with young children both in the United States and South Africa from where she comes. “I studied in Cape Town at a college specializing in only pre-school education. It was an intensive, full time 3 year program at a well respected institution.” Ashne ran her own preschool for many years and only stopped after the birth of her fourth child. “We traveled a lot and I also took some time off to raise my family but all the while being involved in preschool education.” “My ‘baby’ is now in college and soon to be married giving me the opportunity to return to what I love best – teaching young children.

“I try to create a family atmosphere at the school. I consider myself privileged to have a school with an incredible staff. I am so grateful to have staff members who are dedicated to their work and devoted to the children. It is an honor working with them.” The staff is all fully qualified with many years of preschool teaching experience between them.

Ashne also believes that a school is only as good as the families who send their children to it. The parents are devoted to their children and are concerned and care to have their children in a safe, nurturing environment. The school has an open door policy. Ashne and her staff welcome parents to come and discuss any concerns or suggestions they may have. “We work together with parents in the best interests of their children.”
