The Guardian is a one size fits all soft-shell helmet cover that fits on football and lacrosse helmets, reduces impact forces up to 33% and is permitted for high school play by the National Federation of High School Associations (NFHS). The Guardian is lightweight (<8 oz), waterproof, has a low coefficient of friction, and is scientifically tested. It is currently being worn by over 80,000 players youth through D1 college teams.
*No helmet, practice apparatus, or helmet pad can prevent or eliminate the risk of concussions or other serious head injuries while playing sports. Researchers have not reached an agreement on how the results of impact absorption tests relate to concussions. No conclusions about a reduction of risk or severity of concussive injury should be drawn from impact absorption tests. Up to a 33% reduction in impact forces does not equate to a 33% reduction in injuries.
