Institute for Human Centered Design added an event.
A red carpet event to celebrate the anniversary of the ADA on July 26th! This FREE event will mark the release of new Public Service Announcements (PSAs) produced in partnership with Digital Eyes Film. The PSAs are part of a larger campaign from the Institute for Human Centered Design's New England ADA Center aiming to reframe our understanding of disability in the context of changing demographic patterns inherent to New England. We are kicking off a media campaign to clarify and illuminate two demographic patterns that characterize disability in New England today: 1. People ages 45-65 of which New England has the highest percentage of in the US 2. People in recovery from the opioid epidemic with behavioral health issues. The timing is right to re-introduce people who are aging and those with mental health issues into the promise of the ADA. RSVP to Stacy Hart at shart@IHCDesign.org or call 1-800-949-4232 Request an Accommodation: Stacy Hart by July 12th
