Mechanical Heating and Cooling is a family operated company that has been in business since 1983 (35 years). Current owner Joel Wensley has been working for the company since 1986 (32 years) when his uncle owned the company. Where he started as an install apprentice and eventually moved his way up throughout the company. Joel has been the sole owner of the company since 2001 (17 years). Throughout all these years the one thing that has and will remain constant is keeping our customers as the main priority. It is our mission to provide our customers with quality heating, cooling, and ventilation services, quickly, reliably, and effectively, while offering the highest efficiency products and staying up to date on the newest technology.

Mechanical Heating and Cooling is a licensed HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) contractor. We specialize in the installation and service of Carrier heating and cooling systems. In addition we provide duct cleaning and maintenance services. Located in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, we provide our services to the Metro Detroit area. We service, install, provide duct cleaning and maintenance, for both residential and commercial sites. Mechanical Heating and Cooling is a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, but our experienced technicians can service numerous types of equipment. To be a Factory Authorized Dealer there are many requirements we have to meet, some of which include: participating in factory training, finding customer specific solutions, employing NATE-certified technicians, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Our employees are provided with endless training, consisting of both in-house and field training. Initially our employees receive a minimum of 50 hours of training. In addition they receive extra in-house training as needed, as well as attend factory sponsored classes. We believe in keeping our technicians up to date with new and improved techniques, as well as the newest technology, so they can better serve our customers.

In result of our staff’s recent efforts to provide our customers with the highest quality systems and services we have received Carrier’s Presidential Award for the year of 2017. This award is presented to Carrier dealers who exemplify leadership and management, customer satisfaction, expertise, business growth and operational excellence. It holds our company to higher standards and encourages us to continually improve our practices, knowledge, and techniques.
