Gelati Celesti was established in 1984 as a collaboration between father and son. Peter Edmonds and his father, John, opened the business with one location in Richmond, Virginia with a shared vision and a single goal—to bring joy to others by making and serving the very best ice cream possible. Today, the unique process and service philosophy remains unchanged under the leadership of current owners Steve and Kim Rosser. They have nurtured and grown the business from one store and a staff of nine into an established Richmond brand, with five stores, a new kitchen triple the original size, a large wholesale customer base, a food truck and over 110 employees.
