Trinity Lutheran Church

Trinity Lutheran Church is a warm and welcoming group of people. We are known for our involvement and concern for our members and the Chamberlain community. Our mission statement is “To unite all people in the love and fellowship of Jesus Christ and to serve our growing community.”

Trinity has been involved in Lutheran Outdoors, Lutheran Social Service, St. Dysmas Prison congregation, Habitat for Humanity, Missouri Valley Crisis Center, the Chamberlain Ministerial, serving at the Banquet in Sioux Falls, and Dakota Milestones in Chamberlain.

Activities offered for our members have included, an annual Lutefisk Supper, Valentine’s Day meal offered by the youth, hayrides, movie nights, 4 x 4 meals, Healthy Congregations training, and new member welcome party.

Trinity Lutheran Church strives to use the gifts of the members to serve Trinity members and others in our community. We offer adult Bible studies, Sunday School for pre-K to grade 6, youth group for senior high, confirmation studies for grades 7-9, and monthly women’s Bible studies from Lutheran Woman Today.

The church recognizes such events in milestones ministry as baptism, blessing of the backpacks, graduating from high school, leaving for college and leaving Trinity, giving Bibles to third graders, and first communion instruction for third graders.

Trinity’s ministry is based on Word and Sacrament. These are emphasized in Saturday night services at 5:30 and Sunday morning services at 9:30 Several different worship settings are utilized.
