American Auger & Ditching Co Inc
The Empire State Water Well Drillers' Association, founded in 1941, is committed to taking a leadership role in protecting our natural resources through the promotion of the ground water industry. The association will strive to support a spirit of cooperation and communication within the industry and between consumers and regulatory agencies.
Annual dues for Drillers, Pump Installers, Manufacturers, and Suppliers is $ Currently there are more than 234 Contractors, 46 Supplier/Manufacturers, 5 Engineers/Geologists and 45 Associates.
Standing committees of the ESWWDA include: membership, insurance and safety, legislative, education, budget and finance, NEWWA, Public Information, scholarship, NGWA, Hole Talk, environmental, DOT, WSC and by-laws.
Association benefits include continuing education, NGWA certification testing preparation, and a scholarship program.
The membership consists of water well contractors, manufacturers and suppliers, pump installers, engineers, hydrogeologists, and associate contractors (company employees).
There is a quarterly newsletter, Holetalk, and a summer program.
ESWWDA supports the public education efforts of The American Ground Water Trust, Water Systems Council, the National Ground Water Association, and the Water Quality Association.
