Richville United Church of Christ

We welcome you to Richville UCC! Our Sunday worship schedule is as follows: 9:15 AM -- Adult Bible Groups; 10:30 AM -- Updates in the Life and Work of the Church; 10:30 AM -- Worship, with Sunday School for all children K-6. Our worship is always full of good humor, the spirit of mutual support and a deep awareness of GOD's power and presence in our lives. As we seek to grow together in The Way of Jesus, most often our service format could be described as "casual-traditional". We generally follow the lectionary and liturgical calendars for preaching/teaching and the elements of our order of worship. In addition to the sermon, hymn singing, congregational readings and prayer, we have a dedicated kids' time/children's message. Holy Communion is usually celebrated on the first Sunday of each month, as well as on special Sundays and holidays. We celebrate with an OPEN TABLE at our church (meaning: baptized/confirmed adult Christians of any tradition or denomination).

Our children’s’ ministry (COGS) is vibrant and active, holding many activities both on and off-site. We have Confirmation (for baptized youth in grade 7 and 8) and practice both infant and adult baptism. Our Director of Youth & Family Ministries is Gary Bickel.

Our church hosts a few Saturday Dinners throughout the year. Dinners (both a fund-raiser AND a great fellowship opportunity--many folks from the area stop by to eat and visit!) are held from 4:30 - 7:00 PM. Our senior citizen’s group, Golden Charms, meets at Noon on the third Tuesday of each month for lunch, fellowship and a program. A dynamic church, as we follow The Spirit's leading, RUCC is always adding, developing and improving our roster of mission and ministry offerings. There are opportunities for most every age bracket of interest -including study, fellowship, volunteerism/service, etc. See our social media and/or our website ( ) for regular updates.

The church is led by elected officials from within the congregation. These persons service on our all-church board known as "Consistory" -as well as being the chairs for individual committees. We are always striving to "grow in faith, love and service with our families and communities" (from the Mission & Core Values Statement). We'd love to be in fellowship with you!
