Community Health and Counseling Services (CHCS) is a private nonprofit home health, hospice and mental health services organization. CHCS provides services to over 7,500 people in central, northern and eastern Maine.
CHCS serves individuals and families throughout a service area of 23,500 square miles (equivalent to combined size of New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Deleware and Rhode Island).
At the heart of our mission is the belief that services are best delivered and received in a familiar setting where individuals are able to remain close to family and friends who become part of the support and recovery process.
