Shell’s Norco site, an integrated petrochemicals asset, is located next to the Mississippi River, about 20 miles west of New Orleans, Louisiana. The site’s refinery converts approximately 240,000 barrels per day of crude oil, along with approximately 20,000 to 40,000 barrels per day of other feedstocks into gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, and other byproducts. The site’s chemical plant produces ethylene and propylene, aromatic feedstocks, and olefin feedstocks. .
