We're attending a lot of tradeshows this year, so we wanted to share some tips with you, in case you've never attended a tradeshow before. • Pre-show organize - this will save some headaches and stress. Make sure before you board your plane or arrive at the venue that you have any materials that have been sent to you, including your badge and a convention map. • Wear comfortable shoes - even if you're planning to network, wear comfortable shoes. You'll be on your feet all day ~ it's not worth the ache! • Bring snacks - always a good idea, as you'll be on-the-go, and it's a good idea to have snacks that you like (healthy, dietary restrictions, etc.) on hand, to keep your energy up. Same goes for water, if you can - bring a water bottle • Get some sleep - pulling an all-nighter or going out in a new city might seem fun, but if you have a few days of attending a tradeshow, you don't want to be dead on your feet, especially if you're planning to meet clients, customers, or vendors.
