Trinity Lutheran Church first started as the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of San Anselmo in November 1930. Eight years later they formed Trinity Lutheran Church of San Rafael. In 1942, Trinity’s building fund allowed them to purchase their next home which is now Marin’s original dinner theatre, The Belrose. Trinity’s final home was purchased in 1958 and construction was finished in 1961. Since Trinity occupied the entire block the city allowed the choice of its own address hence the Trinitarian reference in the numbers “333”.
