Located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country is Fredericksburg Winery, a family-owned and operated winery that makes a wide variety of fine wines. Many of our wines carry truly Texas names, such as Enchanted Rock and Come & Take It, and all wine production is done on-site by the Switzer family. We’ve been creating delicious wine for 25 years, and we’re excited to share our passion with you!
At Fredericksburg Winery, we believe that wine is supposed to be fun. We want you to learn about wine so that you’re comfortable when trying new wines and discussing wine with your friends and family. One thing we really emphasize is that wine does not, and should not, taste the same to everyone. Your taste buds are unique, so the things you like about wine will vary from what others enjoy. We also like to remind our visitors that the only thing you NEED to know about wine is what you like and don’t like -- everything else is nice to know, but not required.
You won’t find any of Fredericksburg Winery’s wines at a restaurant or grocery store -- the only way to try our wine is to pay us a visit! We’re looking forward to helping you have fun and learn a little more about wine at Fredericksburg Winery.
