Birth Parent Program:

Birth parents can come to the agency at any stage of the pregnancy! Adoption is one of the options available to you as you make the decision about your pregnancy. It is a decision that should be made with all of the correct information. Please call our office to discuss options counseling with one of our trained counselors.

Adoption Dreams Come True is staffed by experienced, compassionate and dedicated counselors. We offer 24 hour a day availability. We work throughout the state and will come to you if needed.

The Birth Parent Program is set up to cater to the needs of a birth parent who is considering all options for their child, including adoption. The counseling and support are the biggest pieces of the program, assuring that all options have been explored and that each parent is making the best decision.

The program includes:
Options counseling-options around an unplanned pregnancy
Relinquishment counseling
Labor support (if desired)
Support at the hospital
Legal relinquishment
Lifelong support following relinquishment
Choices and information on Open vs. Closed adoption
Opportunity to select the family for your child
Peer counseling

Our counselors help birth parents select the very best option depending on individual situations and desires. We collaborate with other services if they choose to parent the baby, in order to obtain medical coverage and other necessities. Our counselors provide job search assistance, help with resumes, and provide referrals to other county agencies and resources if this is their decision.

Adoptive Parent Program:

Adoption Dreams Come True specializes in Domestic, Infant, Private and Open adoptions. Our agency also offers services for Interstate, Older child, Designated, Semi-open and Closed adoptions.

Adoption Dreams Come True primarily places infants. However we do work with the Adoption Exchange to facilitate the placement of older and special needs children.

Our agency provides complete adoption services on a sliding fee scale. These services are as follows: Domestic Home Study, Adoption Counseling, Adoption CORE Education Classes (offered at a lower cost, or a family may choose an approved class of their choice.), Legal Relinquishment/Termination, Placement and Post Placement Services, and Adoption Finalization. The agency contracts with an attorney to do the legal relinquishment and/or termination process of the birth parents’ rights in Larimer County.

The Dream Guild of Adoption Dreams Come True is honored to present to the community of Larimer County The Dream Room.

Created and operated by the Dream Guild of Adoption Dreams Come True, The Dream Room is a resource for low-income families in Larimer County with children age 0-2 years old.

We opened our doors in April of 2008 and offer a large selection of donated clothing, toys, baby gear, nursery room accessories, and diapers for free in a true baby store setting. It is our vision to serve these families with dignity and respect and give them a real boutique-style shopping experience that most of them have never had for their children.
