Welcome to Kids Express Home Child Care! It is my vision to provide your child a warm, safe, and inviting home environment and a fun early-childhood development program at an affordable price and convenient location. Kids Express is a Class II Licensed home child care and a proud participant of the Paths to Quality Program (Level 3), CCDF, the Child and Adult Care Food Program, and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (5-Star Member). We are also an active member of BRIDGES "A Child Care Provider Network". Taking care of children is my talent, preparing them to be future leaders is my passion.

My philosophy of child care is to provide an environment for the child:
~As much like home as possible
~Where learning happens as a result of fun
~That encourages socialization as well as independent play
~To reinforce the values of honor and virtue
~That helps the child learn to relate successfully to others
~Where the child feels safe and happy

My philosophy of child care is to provide for the parents/guardians:
~Open and honest communication about your child
~Up-to-date information about your child’s activities
~An attitude of teamwork in areas relating to your child’s development

My background gives me the foundations to fulfill my philosophy, including:
~Providing in home child care since 2005
~A PhD in Education Leadership (ABD), MBA in Global Management, BS in Organizational Leadership & Supervision, Childcare Development Associate (CDA)
~Two years experience working with kindergarten teachers and children
~Five years experience in working with school-age children in the classroom through Junior Achievement
~CPR and First Aid Certified annually

My goals in caring for your child are to:
~Get to know your child’s interests, strengths, and challenges
~Build a goal chart specifically with your child’s abilities in mind that includes physical and intellectual achievements
~Introduce art, music, pre-math, social self, and pre-reading activities as your child shows an interest
~Provide for planned and spontaneous adult-child interactions
