In operation for 30 years, Poster Animal Hospital has earned the highest possible approval rating by the American Animal Hospital Association and we hope to attain your approval as well. Our facility is well equipped to provide hospitalization, critical care, and laboratory diagnostics for both small animals and small exotics such as rabbits and guinea pigs.
Poster Animal Hospital was opened in June of 1984 as a high quality veterinary hospital. We are extremely involved in our local community in many ways. We provide food and all medical care for the Westport police service dogs at no charge and provide medical care for the service dogs of the Fairfield police. Dr Poster is also a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and helps southern Fairfield County by taking in and caring for injured and sick wildlife.
The hospital routinely spays and neuters select feral cat colonies at low cost in an effort the control our local feral cat population. Save Our Strays, Inc. operates out of Poster Animal Hospital and provides homes for cats and dogs that have been saved from euthanasia.
