Dennis Wantland began working in the landscaping industry at the age of 17, under his grandfather, Earl Wantland, who had owned Wantland Lawn and Landscaping.
In 1994, he "branched" out on his own, into the tree service industry, starting Denny's Tree Service with a handful of friends, family and coworkers from the Michigan City Fire Department.
In 2005, Denny partnered with Chris Hartsburg, also a Michigan City Firefighter. Together, the two have worked to increase the company's services, and business opportunities.
