Sixpenny Chimney Sweeps, was founded in 1980 by a retired police officer. He had seen many chimney and dryer vent fires resulting from improper maintenance. He knew that there was a great need in the area for a company to not only provide an awareness of the importance of keeping all flues and vents free of creosote, and debris. He had a strong sense of community service engrained in him from serving on the police force and a personal integrity that he found essential in business. These principles have proved a solid rock as the company has endured and experienced tremendous growth over the last twenty years. In 1996 Sixpenny was purchased by Franklin Chuquillangui, and he has continued on the same principles, started by prior owner, many years earlier.
