The firm of R. E. Holland and Associates, Inc. was established to provide professional land surveying support services for local municipal, governmental, industrial, commercial and private clients. The firm was established in Jacksonville in April of 1988 and our corporate office is located in the Deerwood Village Executive Center, 9770 Baymeadows Road, Suite 105, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Robert E. Holland is the owner and Registered Principal of the firm.

The primary focus of R. E. Holland and Associates, Inc. is to provide timely and cost effective surveying and mapping solutions to municipal governmental agencies and private consulting civil engineering firms. The use of cutting edge technology in both the office and field environments allows our firm to be competitive both from a cost and time frame standpoint. Additionally, R. E. Holland and Associates, Inc. provides construction layout services, construction monitoring and "as-built" surveying services to general contracting firms. Our understanding of the regulatory review process for new construction approval and our warm working relationship with City officials allows us to provide approved "as-built" surveys with a minimum of delay.

R. E. Holland and Associates, Inc. is currently staffed with three full time field crews. Our crews are equipped with the latest in survey technology hardware, including static and real time GPS capabilities, hand held data collector computers, robotic reflectorless surveying instruments, and 4WD survey vehicles for access to remote sites. Two Survey Technicians serve in the office and are highly proficient in working with Autocad files, using state of the art Dell desktop computers, a master server computer, and separate plotting stations for our map production.

R. E. Holland and Associates, Inc. has expanded our operations over the years by purchasing the records of the following companies: First Coast Surveyors, Inc., H. Moore & Associates, Inc., Clark & Son, Inc., Old South Land Surveyors, Inc., and Allstate Surveyors, Inc. These purchases, along with our own base of records, gives the firm a broad, stable base of survey records from which our current work load is derived and provides a strong financial footing for the firm.

R. E. Holland and Associates, Inc., through its individual members and principal, has extensive experience in all phases of land surveying and mapping. The firm's experience includes, but is not limited to, the following categories of land surveying: boundary surveys, topographical surveys, engineering route design surveys, record platting services, sectional land boundary surveying, coastal control line establishment and mean high water line surveys, quantity and volumetric verification surveys, construction layout and "as-built" surveys, aerial control surveys, jurisdictional wetlands and mitigation site surveys, and hydrographic surveys.
