Heartland Montessori School began in March, 2011 when a small group of teachers and parents representing various segments of the Hardin County Community saw a need for a quality educational preschool program in the Elizabethtown, KY area.
Heartland Montessori School is a quality educational preschool for children ages 2 to 6. The school will commit to the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, to "follow the child" during the sesitive periods from birth through age 6 during which the child absorbs information from a carefully prepared environment. The Montessori curriculum will encourage self-discipline, self-knowledge, independence, an organized approach to problem-solving as well as academic skills.
The staff of Heartland Montessori School is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, educational experience for each child entrusted to their care. Our goal is to foster a life-long love of learning in each of our students.
