Scotty's Lawn Equipment, located just north of Interstate 64 on US 41 near Haubstadt, was founded in 1965 by Scotty and Rita Hipp. Originally the couple ran the business out of their own garage. Since then the business has grown into 30,000 square feet under roof. In 1983 Scotty's was sold to Rick Knapp who still operates it today. Scotty's sells and services great brands of outdoor power equipment like Scag, Toro, Honda, Snapper, Stihl, Shindaiwa, and Billy Goat. Scotty's also offers Smokin Brothers wood pellet smokers.
Over the years, Scotty's Lawn Equipment has remained a locally-owned business that strives to find better ways to serve our customers. Great products, personal attention, convenient services, and a friendly smile is what sets Scotty's apart from the rest.
