Purpose of the page:

The TruWest Credit Union Facebook page is to be used as a discussion forum for the Credit Union and its fans. While it is our intention to never ban individuals from our page, abusive or inflammatory content posted to our page will be removed and can result in the offender being blocked from the page

While we encourage and appreciate comments from our Likers/Fans, TruWest Credit Union would like to keep commentary friendly for all ages, so please keep your comments and wall posts family-friendly. We also ask that you follow our posting guidelines. Posts that do not adhere to this policy will be removed.

Posting guidelines:

-We reserve the right to remove any posts made by people using an alias and/or if we can't determine his or her identity – regardless of content.

-Posts that are blatantly off topic may be removed.

-Personal attacks/flaming will not be tolerated.

-We do not allow graphic, obscene, explicit or racial comments or submissions, nor do we allow comments that are abusive, hateful or intended to defame anyone or any organization.

-We do not allow solicitations or advertisements. This includes promotion or endorsement of any financial, commercial or non-governmental agency. Similarly, we do not allow attempts to defame or defraud any financial, commercial or non-governmental agency.

-We do not allow "bumping" content – that is to say, posts that serve to repeat existing issues and bring them to the top of the wall.

-You participate at your own risk, taking personal responsibility for your comments, your username and any information provided.

-TruWest Credit Union respects the confidentiality of each of our members’ and clients’ unique financial situations and their personal financial information. Because responding to account-specific posts would infringe upon such rights, TruWest may remove the post and/or request the individual contact us directly to discuss their individual situation. For your protection, please refrain from posting any personal identifying information such as account number, PIN, etc.
