Harrisville State Park is a heavily wooded state park on the shore of Lake Huron. It is located on U.S. Route 23 in Harrisville, Alcona County, Michigan. Established on a mere 6acre in 1921. It is one of the oldest parks in the Michigan State Park system, today encompassing some 107 acres.
The park, which is within walking distance from Harrisvile, includes a campground as well as a day-use area. Each year a concert series takes place on Wednesday nights during the summer, and is held at the harbor. There are nature programs offered weekly, and you can view that schedule here.
