During the school year, our 8:30 service is a small community of people. We enjoy singing along with the Piano or Organ, time for silent reflection, and weekly communion. Our 10:30 service is a larger group of people. We enjoy singing along with the Piano or Organ. The choir sings weekly, and we also hear from the Bell Choir on various occasions. We celebrate communion monthly. Childcare is provided by paid, trained nursery staff who have completed background checks. We take the safety of children and youth very seriously at Avon UMC. Our Sunday School classes are taught by gifted teachers who care about children. We have Sunday School available for children from ages 3 through 6th grade. Parents or caregivers are always welcome to participate as well.
Throughout the year, we have two small groups for Adults: Bible study meets every Sunday at 11:45 AM and every Thursday at 11:00 AM. Prayer group meets monthly on Sunday. Groups for women, men, and a group that enjoys fellowship and potluck dinners meet each month as well. We would love for you to join us!
