Established in 1997 Winchester's was at the genesis of the rebirth of downtown Ventura. The casual themed steakhouse was the first to offer patio dining on Main St. and quickly became known for their high quality steaks, chicken, and burgers, at very reasonable prices. They also brought with them the largest selection of draft beer between and San Francisco, which made them key contributors to the craft-brew revolution. They continue to this day to be leaders not just in the now thriving downtown cultural district, but also in the community at large.
