CCA began in the fall of 1977 under the leadership of Pastor Bob King, as a ministry of Cramerton Free Will Baptist Church. Fifty seven students were enrolled in kindergarten through third grade that first year. In the years that followed, additional grades were added and, in 1984, the school graduated the first senior class.
The school is housed on a forty-acre campus with day care facilities, an administration building, an art studio, a Children’s Indoor Play Gym, classroom buildings, music facilities, and the Roy Rikard Activities Building (a combination classroom, gym, and cafeteria facility).
