Empowering displaced and at-risk youth through photography based programs.
The AjA Project operates Journey, a participatory photography-based program for refugee and immigrant youth in San Diego. The program uses visual storytelling to engage youth to explore their cultural identity, develop communication and leadership skills, and see themselves as agents of personal and social transformation.
