National Studio was started in Burlington in 1941 by Sid McKenna. By the 1950’s, it was the leading family, Senior, and Wedding Studio in the area. It was known for beautiful portraits with innovative style, and excellent craftsmanship.
Randy Fox purchased the Studio in 1976, and continues the tradition of excellent portraits. He also brought several years of Commercial/Advertising experience from the Chicago and Champaign/Urbana area.
In 1996, National Studio became one of the first portrait studios in the nation to go to digital technology. The early digital process lent itself admirably to sports/event photography, and made the National Studio the premier studio in team, event, and dance photography.
