Ruff Grooming

INTRODUCTION:
Ruff Grooming: Marinda Calloway is the owner/groomer that obtained her Basic Grooming certification through Fresh Pet Academy in Lawton Oklahoma. Ruff Grooming has several groomers available and encourage you to find that groomer that works for you and your fur baby. Address is 2112 Falcon Road. The shop phone is 580-649-5819. SERVICE OPTIONS:
Grooming Service: Full Grooming includes: A bath, towel and force-air dryer with no heating element, eye and ear cleaning/plucking, nail clipping, brush out, anal glands expression, and specific haircut based upon your dog’s breed standard and/or your individual style choice. All size dogs are welcomed.
Pet Wash Service: Full Service Wash appointments include: A bath, anal glands expression, towel and force-air dryer with no heating element, eye and ear cleaning, nail clipping, brush out. All size dogs are welcomed.
Sanitary Clean-up: Sanitary Clean-Up includes: A bath, anal glands expression, towel and force-air dryer with no heating element, eye and ear cleaning, nail clipping, brush out and a shave down of the belly, inner thighs and behind.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Appointments: Must call or book online to set up an appointment and please be prepared to leave your pet while being groomed and the groomer will call upon completion. If you need to drop your pet off before normal business hours, arrangements can be made. Please bring copy of vaccinations. (You can email ruffgrooming2013@ ) Bordetella is recommended.
Hours: Ruff Grooming will be open Monday through Tuesday. Opens 8:00 am – Closes when last appointment is finished. Wednesday 7:30 am – Closes when last appointment is finished. Thursday, Friday and Saturday appointments can be arranged.
Pricing: What are our prices based on? Prices are based on a variety of things, THE BREED, AVERAGE STANDARD SIZE, LENGTH DESIRED, AND CONDITION OF THE COAT. There is a general price list you can check on when calling. Please note: From visit to visit your price may vary depending on the length desired and condition of the coat. If you have any questions regarding your price, we are always happy to discuss it with you. You will always know the price before you leave your dog with us.
Please understand we are working with sharp equipment on a moving target and are very careful but this does take time. You can help us by sharing any concerns you may have about your dog’s behavior so we know ahead of time.
Matted Dogs: If it is going to be painful for the pet, we do not do it. De-matting certain coats is just cruel. If the pet is severely matted, we will recommend the coat be shaved off. If your pet arrives with matted hair that will take more than a few minutes to safely brush out – you will have additional charges. You are always welcome to come between full service grooms for a full service bath to help maintain the coat. We require a matted release form to be signed prior to grooming a matted dog. Severe matt’s may uncover many skin issues and this release will detail some things we may uncover.
Special Needs (Behavior or Medical): We are willing to work with dogs that have a difficult time at the groomers. If you let us know that your dog has biting or other nervous issues, we will take every precaution we can.
