The impossible job. This is a new, ridiculously expensive piece that was delivered by a design firm in San Francisco to their client. There is a tiny flaw in the leather top. The client rejected delivery. The leather is colored with a metallic purple and coated with a heavy high gloss top-coat. The picture is a tight close-up. The spot in question is smaller than a sesame seed. Of course the designer told the client that we can work magic. Jason's got 25 more grey hairs just looking at this job.

The sea of projects in our shop. The furniture flood continues. Poor Yvonne trying to avoid being swept away by the flood as she packages a shipment, hurrying to meet the UPS pickup deadline.

This business has been operational 25 years. We recently found out that to repair furniture in California requires a license from the Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair, Home Furnishings and Thermal Insulation. That's the BEARHFTI. We had no idea. Well we are now official and $360 poorer.

Client want's to know if his leather can be repaired. What do you think?
