Joyce Moving and Storage, Inc. began in 1981 by William H. Joyce as a small, local business in Stamford, Connecticut. The foundation of his success was a great business mind, determination, strong work ethic and a big heart. Our mission and the core principle is to exceed our customer’s expectations.
The company quickly became known and awarded for its exceptional service, and with increased demand, expanded in 1986. Mr. Joyce purchased his first warehouse, office facility and obtained his 48-state hauling authority as a motor carrier. After only four years, the Joyce Company was now a nationwide carrier of household goods, office furniture and high value products. In 2006, Joyce Van Lines acquired Callahan Brothers, expanding their local presence in the Greenwich, Westchester, and New York City.
Because of William Joyce’s commitment to quality and customer service, he believed it was important to develop company-owned facilities nationwide to assure that high service levels. Joyce Van Lines, Inc. now owns full service, moving, and storage facilities in Connecticut, Indiana, and California.
