Our program enables dancers to define their career possibilities while developing the skills necessary to excel in a variety of disciplines in order to thrive during all phases of their careers.

We shared lots of love with the dance community for Valentine's Day last Thursday night! Career Transition For Dancers (CTFD), a program of The Actors Fund, celebrated its 8th Annual Heart & Soul Gala at The Breakers in Palm Beach. This year's Gala was the most successful by far with esteemed honorees philanthropist Sydell Miller and world-famous ballet dancer Marcelo Gomes. Our own Chairman of the Brian Stokes Mitchell was on hand to host and long-time supporter Liz Callaway captivated the crowd by performing three songs. Special thank you to the Boca Ballet Theatre and Ballet Palm Beach for their tribute performances in honor of Marcelo Gomes. None of this could have been done without our amazing gala chair Anka K Palitz. Thank you to Anka and to all of our generous donors and everyone who made this event such a success in helping reach more dancers across the country with all of our free and confidential services!
