New in AcademyU: Professionalism in the Profession In 1999, the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) enunciated six Core Competencies for quality patient care. One of these nationally adopted competencies is professionalism. Reg-ent Attains CMS QCDR and QR Designations CMS awarded the Reg-ent registry with the Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) designation. This includes approval of the measures submitted with the application for the Quality Performance Category of MIPS.
