Partners in this collaborative are the Job Training & Employment Corporation; the Massachusetts Division of Career Services and the Massachusetts Division of Unemployment Assistance. The career center is located at 372 North Street, Hyannis, MA.

Individuals who are under-employed, unemployed or seeking a career change, turn to Career Opportunities for job search services. Employers use Career Opportunities to find job candidates to fill open positions.

Career Opportunities is the only one-stop career center on Cape Cod. Many of the services available are offered FREE of charge to both job seekers and employers, as they are prepaid by our tax dollars. Completion of a membership application is all that is required to access these free services. And, there is NO COST to join!

Our mission is to connect employers and workers. The ultimate goal is to help people find jobs!

For individuals seeking employment or a career change, Career Opportunities offers a host of job/career search services from job search workshops to one-on-one career counseling.

These services are divided into two categories: Core and Intensive. Core services are available to any member at no charge.
The Resource Center, which is open to any member seeking employment and/or a career change, and offers access to the internet, labor market and training information, a FAX machine, telephone, copy machines, and more, is a core service. Unlike the Core services, there is a charge for Intensive Services, unless you meet its eligibility criteria. If you meet the criteria, the cost of the intensive service could be underwritten by a host of different entities, depending on your circumstances.

The following Intensive services are provided Free of charge to eligible individuals:

Academic remediation
GED preparation
Vocational Assessment
Computer Literacy
Personalized one-on-one career counseling
Job Search Assistance
Job Training
Up to date methods for finding the right job!

Individuals who do not meet the eligibility guidelines can access these Intensive Services for a nominal fee. Visit for a list of services and fee schedule.

Employers with job openings can place a job order with Career Opportunities at no cost to them. Job orders can be placed via telephone or by completing and submitting a job order form on line at In addition, employers are welcome to use our facilities at no charge for recruitment purposes and participate in our on-site job fairs.
