Mid-America Dental & Hearing Center has served the people of Mt. Vernon and across the since 1979. The original location is now Mid-America Dental & Hearing Center-Highway at 1050 W. Hayward Drive. The second location is Mid-America Dental & Hearing Center-Loop at 558 E. Mt. Vernon Blvd.
The dental facility was founded in 1979 and follows the same tradition of quality health care, reasonable prices, same-day-service and Ozark hospitality as first established by Drs. Harold E. George and Frederick C. Lauer as the Mid-America Denture Clinic. Dr. Jay Hildreth established Dental Centers' practice in 1995 and purchased Mid-America Dental Clinic in 1997.
Dental Centers with two locations in Mt. Vernon, Missouri at Mid-America Dental & Hearing Center-Highway and Mid-America Dental & Hearing Center-Loop is the Ozark pioneer of the custom, same-day, denture. Today, Dental Centers offers many other non-specialty interest services, including general dentistry with a new family dentistry emphasis, hygiene, crowns, bridges, orthodontics and implants.
The Dr. Harold & Betty George family is still actively involved in the company. Their son, Scott George, is a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist; and serves as Chief Executive Officer for all non-professional services. Their grandson, Brian George, serves as Chief Operating Officer. Their granddaughter; Dr. Cheryl Williams, Mt. Vernon Clinic, also serves on the INSURANCE:
We accept Delta Dental Insurance and more than 200 other dental insurance carriers. For all others, we have dropped the fee for filing your insurance and will be happy to file the paperwork for you so your insurance company can reimburse you (treatment fees are due at the time of service).
CARE CREDIT:
CareCredit financing is also available (some restrictions apply) to those who qualify. Ask us about the 6 months no interest financing plan and extended plans up to 60 months at reasonable interest.
Dr. Hildreth & Associates are Missouri licensed General Dentists. They are not licensed in Missouri as specialists in the advertised dental specialties of Prosthetics or Orthodontics. Implants are a specialty area not recognized by the ADA that require no specific educational training to advertise this service.
