ADMIS traces its lineage back to the 1930’s with the founding of the Tabor Grain and Feed Company, an independently owned grain merchandising operation in Central Illinois. Tabor expanded in 1956 to provide customers with investment banking and stock trading services. In 1966, the company became a clearing member of the Chicago Board of Trade and began clearing and executing futures trades. In 1975, the Archer Daniels Midland Company (“ADM”) acquired Tabor & Company and in 1985 adopted the name we continue to use today. ADMIS is headquartered in the historic Board of Trade Building in Chicago, Illinois.
