Cohen Laser & Vision Center ( CLVC ) is led by Dr. G Richard Cohen, a renowned eye surgeon who offers LASIK, corneal surgery, cataract surgery and other advanced vision care procedures in our Boca Raton, Florida laser and vision center.

Dr. Cohen is a board-certified cornea specialist and diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is the ‘doctor of choice’ for many other doctors in throughout South Florida including other surgeons, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, periodontists, and other types of physicians. He is among an elite group of ophthalmologists in the Boca Raton - Fort Lauderdale area specializing in diseases and surgery of the Cornea and was the first to own a permanent in-office excimer laser in Palm Beach County. He completed his post-doctoral training in Cornea and External Disease at Tufts New England Medical Center and Cornea Research at Harvard medical School.

Dr. Cohen is extremely skilled in performing corneal transplant surgery. His skill, commitment and experience have earned him a reputation for pursuing excellence and for providing satisfaction beyond his patient’s expectations. Cohen has lived in Boca Raton, Florida since 1985 and has over 25 years of experience and training in laser vision correction and refractive surgery. Dr. Cohen performs state-of-the-art corneal procedures such as Pterygium Surgery and sutureless corneal endothelial transplants.
