Welcome to Trillium Tree & Landscape of Northborough, Massachusetts. We'd like to thank you for your interest in our company and take a moment to introduce ourselves.


Trillium is a full service tree and landscape company providing residential and commercial property maintenance, landscape design and installation, a full range of tree care services and winter products like plowing, sanding and snow removal.


Trillium is a family business owned and operated by Dave and Diane Smith. We began our company in 1994 with 1 truck, 1 mower and a handful of residential lawns. With the help of many talented employees over the years, we were able to grow our fledging business into a landscape and maintenance company with a fleet of 10 vehicles and a staff of 12.

In 1999, the year we expanded into tree care with the purchase of a chipper and a used chip truck, Rich Barr joined our company. Rich is a tree guy, a professional climber with 25 years of experience. Working together with Dave, they have grown the tree division into a service that now includes a crew of 4, a bucket truck, a stump grinder, and additional chip trucks.

Our company has grown and evolved as we approach our 15th year in business. We went from Trillium Landscape to Trillium Tree and Landscape, Inc. Our numbers of employees and vehicles has changed. We work for both residential and commercial clients now. We successfully accomplish large complex projects and perform technical and challenging tree work but we still maintain small properties that we've had since our beginnings.


One thing that hasn't changed though is our commitment to be our best. We strive to learn and grow and adapt and listen. We want your experience with Trillium to be an easy one. A real voice on the other end of the phone. Prompt, courteous and professional work. Honest follow through and real value; competitive rates for competitive times.
