While many would describe Rock Creek as unconventional, the members are proud of the flexibility they have developed over the course of the years. The church has grown; not only in numbers, but in its mission. A variety of activities encourage participation of all ages in the church programs. Rock Creek brought Upward Basketball to Nashville, and missions programs reach out to neighbors near and far. An active music program involves all who are willing to sing, or play a musical instrument from pre-schoolers to senior adults. The annual presentation of the Living Christmas scenes continues to inspire the community to reflect on the miracle of Christ's birth. Youth programs encourage teens to strengthen their relationship with God and the church, while enjoying fun times and travels with one another. Family Night meals on Wednesday evenings are a core component of the spirit of fellowship one experiences at Rock Creek.
