The Forest-Jackson Public Library in Hardin County has the unique situation of serving the populations in three different communities, in three different counties, which comprise the Riverdale School District. Two of these communities, Mt. Blanchard in Hancock County and Wharton in Wyandot County do not have public libraries.
The mission of the Forest-Jackson Public Library is to provide all residents of the Riverdale School District in Hardin, Hancock and Wyandot Counties access to materials and services that will meet their educational, informational and personal pleasure needs.
