The Riverdale Fire Department Auxiliary was established in 1954. Since its beginning, the Auxiliary has been very successful and has fostered a sense of community among its members. It currently has 13 members. The Auxiliary is responsible for supporting the Fire Department during major incidents and emergencies by providing food and beverages. It also raises funds for supplies and aids in the purchase of items for the firefighters.
