Goldsboro Housing Authority
Located in the heart of Wayne County, Goldsborough was incorporated in 1847 and became the county seat. In 1869, the name officially changed to Goldsboro and has served as the economic, cultural and political hub of the community for more than a century and a half. The city of Goldsboro now boasts a population of almost 40,000 and offers all of the amenities of a progressive city. A wonderfully diverse community, Goldsboro is renowned for its many picturesque neighborhoods, historic buildings, family friendly events and rich heritage.
