The DTA provides regular-route service to Duluth, Proctor and Superior, Wisconsin. Para-transit service for people with disabilities is also offered through STRIDE in these same service areas.

DTA buses are equipped with Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) that monitor operations for efficiency while helping to improve service. Passengers can view buses along different routes using the WebWatch feature which is available at They can also plan their trips on the website using the Google Plan & Ride feature.
All buses are ADA compliant. They are equipped with accessible ramps for passengers with wheelchairs and have “kneeling” capabilities for easy boarding. Plus, each bus has a user-friendly bicycle rack on the front that can be used throughout the year.
Passenger safety is a top priority at the DTA. Each bus is equipped with several surveillance cameras. The Duluth Transportation Center (DTC) and Operating Center are also monitored with surveillance cameras.
The DTA operates 24 different color-coded routes. Riding the DTA is convenient for most residents in the Twin Ports because approximately 80 percent of the population live within walking distance of a bus stop.
