Daily Thought! May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. Do not forget the infinite possibilities born of faith in yourself and others. Use the gifts that you received, pass on the love that's been given to you. Be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, and love. It is there for each and every one of us. Have you someone lately? Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have potential to turn a life around. When was the last time you witnessed a random act of kindness? Did it bring a smile to your face? Perhaps a warm feeling in your heart or maybe even a few tears to your eyes? There's something about kindness that draws us in. Kindness - especially when it's given unexpectedly - reminds us of God's grace and kindness to all of us. We don't deserve it, but He pours out love and favor on us because that's just who He is. He loves to love His children. When we show kindness to one another, even to those we don't think "deserve" kindness, we are mirroring God's character. Take an extra moment to focus on those around you to do what you can. Practicing small acts of kindness doesn't even need to cost anything. Lord, I acknowledge my need for you. You are my strength and salvation. Help me to walk humbly with you. Amen.

DAILY THOUGHT! MANY ARE THE WOES WE FACE DAILY, SEEKING JOY AND PEACE, IN THIS HECTIC RACE: WE CAST OUR EYES TO THE HEAVENS ABOVE AND THANK THE LORD FOR HIS ENDURING LOVE. NO MATTER HOW GREAT A PROBLEM MAY BE, THERE’S NEVER A DOUBT THAT GOD LOVES US. IT MAY BE HUNGER, PERSECUTION OR DISTRESS. WILL HIS LOVE CEASE WHEN OUR LIFE IS A MESS? THE ANSWER IS NO! NEVER! HIS LOVE FOR US WILL NOT SEVER; WHATEVER MY LOT, BE IT SAINTLY, OR A QUIRK, GOD STILL LOVES US EVEN IF WE’RE A JERK. MANY FACTS WE KNOW TO BE TRUE, THE VERY BEST IS THAT GOD LOVES EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US THE SAME. SO DON’T FORGET AS YOU TRAVEL THIS EARTH THERE’S NOTHING TO SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD. AMEN! (PARTS FROM ROM. 8:35-39)

Daily Thought! Jesus said, "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Matthew 6:33 When you put God first, you are establishing order for everything else in your life. How you live your life reflects your true priorities more than any list you may be holding in your head. Suppose your love for others is evident to those who know you - and even those who don't. Suppose you talk to God about both the small things, as well as the big ones you face each and every day. And suppose you make plans for your future based on the big picture of eternity, instead of the small snapshot of daily life. Then, chances are, you're trying to keep God number one in your life. That isn't something you decide once and then forget. Every morning you need to make a choice; who will be number one in my life, God or me? Heavenly Father, so many things in my life are grabbing for my attention, trying to make themselves first place. Help me to see past all of the distractions and maintain my focus on you. I want you to be the number one priority in my life. Amen.

Daily Thought! God says, "At the right time I heard your prayers. On the day of salvation, I helped you." I tell you that the "right time" is now, and the "day of salvation" is now. 2 Corinthians 6:2 Time is not a commodity that can be stored for future use. It must be invested day by day, hour by hour and minute by minute. You only get one "today." After 1440 minutes, your today becomes a yesterday. No do-overs, no second chances, no turning back the clock. Choosing how you'll spend the time you have is a big responsibility. You can waste it on what is worthless or invest it in what will last throughout eternity. The choice is yours. God wants you to live life to the fullest. That begins with making wise, premeditated choices about how you'll spend the days ahead. That doesn't mean you need to book every minute on your calendar or that lying on the beach soaking up a little sun is a waste of time. Just be aware of how easily time slips away - and spend it wisely in light of your priorities. Heavenly Father, thank you for my life - every minute of it. Each morning you give me a chance to start fresh, to make every day count. Help me to make wise choices with the time you’ve given me so that I'll please you and feel true contentment at the end of each day. Amen.
