The DRA operates under the guidelines of IRS 501 (c)(3) organizations.
Prospective members must be sponsored by a current member in good standing. All applicants must ride an American V-Twin motorcycle and provide evidence of California motorcycle license and insurance
The DRA puts on a number of Club rides and events throughout the year with the intent of raising awareness of motorcycling and raising funds for charitable purposes.
The Desert Riders Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity. The DRA and its members have raised and donated more than $114,000 to various charities, service organizations and individuals since its founding in 1999.
