Our church was started as a mission of White Street Baptist Church in 1962 to start ''Shining the Light'' of Jesus Christ to the community.
Big Coppitt First Baptist Church is known as a friendly and loving body of believers. The atmosphere of our church is not formal but open and casual. We have a blended style of worship, using both traditional hymns and contemporary praise and worship songs and choruses.
